The twin-shaft lime kiln is a parallel-flow regenerative lime kiln. It consists of two kiln chambers connected by a lower channel of the calcining belt.

Product Introduction

The functions of the two kiln chambers for calcination and heat storage are interchangeable and operate alternately. That means, when one kiln chamber is calcining, the other kiln chamber accumulates heat and exchanges once every 12 to 15 minutes. The double-chamber shaft kiln can produce high-quality lime products due to its reasonable thermal characteristics of calcined lime.

Since the combustion adopts the principle of regenerative technology, its energy consumption index is the lowest among all kiln types. The parallel flow regenerative active double-chamber shaft kiln has a high level of automation, which can ensure the long-term safe, stable and efficient operation of the lime kiln and reduce operating labor costs.
